This year will offer something for everyone!!! The three day event features private lessons with Michael Vermaas on Thursday evening and Friday and a jumping clinic with Michael on Sunday. Howard and Erica Peet will join us again, offering private in-hand lessons on Friday and a group in-hand clinic on Sunday. Friday afternoon will include a free Working Equitation Play Day for seminar attendees. Just bring you horse and practice on the obstacles to your heart’s content! Janet Wheeler, a nationally known and incredible farrier who consults and trims horses in multiple states, will not only be a Saturday speaker, but will be available to evaluate, trim, and balance your horse’s hooves on Friday and Sunday by appointment. Saturday’s schedule is simply AWESOME!!!! We are pleased to announce that Barb Clark, Janet Wheeler, Madalyn Ward, DVM, Dree Ward, and Dale Moulton will all participate in morning sessions focusing on the whole horse – optimizing your equine partner’s health and well-being. After a scrumptious pot luck lunch, we will enjoy a schooling show (in hand, DSHB, saddle classes) and a W.E. practice show, with ribbons to the winners! The Saturday event will end with a delicious catered dinner and time to visit with clinicians and your friends!
We ask that you bring something for a pot luck lunch on any day that you participate - Friday, Sat, and Sunday. A continental breakfast will be provided daily, and a catered dinner is planned for Saturday night. As usual, we will have a silent auction. Any donation would be greatly appreciated – horsey or non-horsey! Books, jewelry, tack, children’s items, clothes, riding apparel, goodies, treats, etc.
Because individual & clinic lessons with Michael & Howard, hoof evaluation, trimming, and balancing by Janet, and schooling show entries are limited due to space and time constraints, you are encouraged to register as soon as possible. If you have any further questions, please call Judy at 979 - 299 - 4785 or Walter at 979 - 292 - 5784.
