Acastus PI: 2016 Imported Chestnut PRE Colt: This colt was bred by the well regarded stud farm of Fernando and Xavier Pique, Yeguada Piqué Angel, near Barcelona. Acastus and his dam, Tanzanita PI (pictured above: 3 yrs & pregnant) were imported by the Ledlie Family to Rancho Del Lago last year. Preciosa HGA: 2007 Grey P.R.E. Mare. Preciosa is by Jorongo MOR and out of Destinada P. Jorongo MOR has been successful in the open dressage arena and is currently schooling at 3rd Level. Additionally, he was awarded High Point Andalusian at a recent Andalusian/Lusitano show in Lexington, Virginia. Destinada is a fantastic mare and as a two-year-old received the Gold Medal Movement Award National Champion Spanish Filly, and was also a Top 5 National Grand Championship Andalusian Filly, at the 2004 IALHA US National Championship Show. 2014 Gray Warmblood Filly. This filly is sired by our 13 times National Grand Champion, 18 times Best Movement of Show, Andalusian stallion, Saltador ORO. The dam, SDR Amazing Grace, is a black draft registered with the North American Spotted Draft Horse Association. His sire, Saltador ORO has amassed an amazing 150+ Championship, Reserve Championship, High Point & Movement Awards from 2004 – 2014. Additionally, Saltador is a champion at 2nd level in open dressage shows and an IALHA National Champion at 2nd level. He has both IALHA Merit Awards and is an 8 times USDF Grand Champion Sport Horse. This filly's dam is one of the quietest and easiest to handle draft that Sand Creek Farm has had the pleasure of owning. She is handled and ridden by children and beginners. The dam is mostly Percheron, with a little Shire and Belgian. This was a repeat breeding and this filly’s 2012 brother is outstanding. Dionysus RDL: 2013 Gray PURE Colt. Dionysus is named after a Greek god. His dam is Electra GR, double granddaughter of Champion of Spain Centella V, sire of many Spanish champions. Electra is the dam of several fine foals, including one of the most promising young stallions in the breed, Dardanos RDL (IALHA National Champion [halter & saddle] and USDF Grand Champion Sport Horse). The full brother of this colt, Regulus RDL, is already a multi USDF Champion sport horse and National Champion as a yearling and USDF Grand Champion Sport Horse at 2. The sire of this colt is our Absolute Champion, 13 times National Champion, Saltador ORO, by Indiano XVIII. Saltador has so many titles we can't list them here, including 2011 Andalusian Horse of the Year. This colt will be gray but has a black bay dam and must therefore be heterozygous gray (50% chance of producing color when bred to color). Brillante: 2014 Pure Gray Gelding. Brillante’s sire is Garrochista de Fraile, an imported champion in California, sired by 2003 Spanish SICAB Champion Utebo II (photo 4). Rubi JIM is the foundation sire of a number of excellent foals from the well known breeding program of Gina Hogan, ORO Andalusians. Contessa is under saddle and is fully trained at halter. She has a willing disposition and is an easy keeper. In 2011, Contessa produced a now National Champion and 2X National Top 5 bay filly, Macarena RDL, by Absolute Champion P.R.E. stallion, Magico VIII. This terrific breeding was repeated for 2012 producing a colt which quickly sold.
Marengo RDL: 2010 1/2 Andalusian Chestnut Gelging. Marengo is a 5 times National Champion (and 1 Reserve National Champion) in Halter, Best Movement and Dressage Sport Horse in Hand under USEF, USDF and International judges. He won both Gold Medal Movement Awards in halter at the 2013 IALHA National Show. His sire is Magico VIII, 3 times National Champion and multiple movement medal winner and sire of 11 National Champions. Magico has sired over 100 foals and the 20 that have been shown have won over 80 regional and 50 national show titles, including 3 Best Movement Half Andalusian National Champions of 2010, 2012 and 2013. Marengo’s dam is a registered chestnut haflinger mare Starz WKH, a favorite at Rancho Del Lago and at exhibitions. She plays musical instruments, does math, drives single and double and has performed many tricks at fund raisers for Make a Wish, Bluebonnet horse rescue and equine expos. Marengo is under saddle and fully trained for Dressage Sport Horse and Halter presentation. He is IALHA registered and Life USEF registered. His sire, dam and siblings are currently at Rancho Del Lago.

Venus is from the esteemed breeding program of Rancho Sol Del Pacifico (Barbara Rotter) in Malibu, CA, and she has 5 National Champions of Spain and the USA in her pedigree. Her sire is Pacifico’s Erudito, who's son of the Currie’s legendary Doctor XVI and dam’s sire Genio IIIa. The dam of Venus is Bailarina GF, a Gremlin Farms bred granddaughter of Cardenas bred Champion of Spain, Genil. Venus is started under saddle. She is IALHA registered and inscribed by the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse. Venus produced a wonderfully filly by Saltador ORO in 2014.
