Rancho Del Lago - Carino RDL, National Ch of Ch Pleasure Stallion, 2003
Carino RDL
is a 1998 copper bay stallion. He is large, strong and well gaited. His
dam is JMC Caricia, High Point Performance Horse of the 1998 National Show
(see above) and his sire is a beautiful palomino stallion imported from
Peru, *Viejo Senior De Sipan. Senior De Sipan is featured prominently throughout
the PPHRNA promotional video, including slow motion footage, to demonstrate
the breed's ground covering, smooth gait. Carino has two perfectly matched
low white socks on the rear. He has a beautiful face and gentle eye. Note
the low tail set, clean top line, good hock angles and good neck insertion.
This colt is above average in size and strong with good bone. Carino exhibits
the trademark flashy front end of his great grandsire, AV Sol de Paijan. He was
imprinted at birth, has excellent ground handling manners and a good
disposition. Look at this guy's gait, size and strength. In his first show
(2003) he was first place Stallion 4-6 yrs. and 2nd in conformation. In the 2003 AAOBPPH National, he was National Champion, defeating 6 qualifying
stallions, including several regional Champions of Champions. He went on
to win National Champion of Champions Pleasure Stallion.
