Rancho Del Lago - Ranch Info 

             
Rancho Del Lago is located 0n 90 acres of rolling sandy hills, 30 miles east of Austin, near McDade, Texas. The stable includes an office, foal watch room, tack room, vet exam station and 30 stalls with 16 adjoining pipe paddocks.  Training facilities include an outdoor dressage arena, a jumping arena, a 60 foot round pen, riding trails and 12000 feet of pipe cross fencing. Our ranch home is a Spanish hacienda, over-looking hay meadows and forests of pine and oak.  A log cabin and century old Texas farmhouse are available as guest facilities.  

Breeding Program - Regardless of the breed, the characteristics we strive to produce are strength, harmony of movement and a willing temperment. We specialize in hand raising just a few foals each year, all of which are imprinted from birth. We introduce our young horses to everything but do not ride them until age three. Therefore, training never involves "breaking" the spirit of the horse. Every Rancho Del Lago horse has from one to as many as a dozen National Champions in its pedigree.
